New in v1.2.0
v1.2.0 of Radio Times on your iPhone introduces the following features:
- Improved support for iPhone OS 3.0
- Publish a story on Facebook
- Update your status on Twitter
- Exclude repeats from My Shows
This page includes an introduction to using the new features.
Publish a story on Facebook
You can now publish a story about a programme or film directly on Facebook to share with your friends and family. To use this feature, you will need to be a member of Facebook and log in from the Radio Times app. You can join Facebook here.
To publish a story: From a programme details view, tap the Share button and then Publish via Facebook.

If you have not yet signed-in to Facebook, enter your Facebook sign-in details and tap Connect. Tick Keep me logged in if you want Radio Times to stay logged in to Facebook.

Once logged-in, you will see a summary of the story that will appear on your Wall.

Tap Publish to publish the story.
Note: Radio Times on your iPhone will only post stories to your Facebook Wall when you tap Share. It will not bring friends or information to the application or contact your friends.
To log out of Facebook, go to the iPhone/iPod Home screen and open the Settings application. Then:
- Go RadioTimes > Facebook > Logout on next launch (set to ON)
- Launch RadioTimes
RadioTimes is now logged-out of Facebook.
Update your status on Twitter
You can also publish updates to your Twitter status from a programme or film details view. To start, tap Share > Publish via Twitter.
If you have not yet signed-in to Twitter, enter your Twitter sign-in details and tap Sign In. You can tick Remember me to stay signed-in to Twitter.

Once signed-in, you will see a summary of the status update. You can tap on the status to edit it.

From this screen you can:
- Tap Clear to reduce the status text to a single small link
- Tap Update to publish your status, or Cancel to close without posting the update
- Tap Sign out to sign out of Twitter
Exclude repeats from My Shows
The My Shows lineup contains programmes that you have flagged as a favourite using the Add to favourites feature. By default, the lineup will show all you favourite shows, including repeats. If you want to exclude repeats from being shown in the lineup:
- Tap Home > More... > Edit > My Shows
- In the Properties drop down, tap Repeat twice until you see the exclude icon (see below)
The following screen shows the Repeat property set to Exclude:
